Irene Antonioli
Visiting Stay: March – July 2026
Irene Antonioli is currently at the Faculty of Law at the University of Copenhagen as part of an Erasmus+ post-graduate traineeship. She obtained her law degree with full marks from the University of Naples Federico II in July 2025, with a thesis on the impact of climate change on the international protection of human rights. During her stay in Copenhagen, she plans to further develop the research she began during her thesis and expand it into a broader research project.
During her studies, Irene spent a semester at the University of Bordeaux through the Erasmus+ programme and conducted part of her thesis research at the University of Grenoble Alpes. These international experiences strengthened her interest in international law, particularly in relation to climate change and environmental protection.
After graduating, she completed a traineeship at a company specializing in EU project development, where she worked in the sustainability department and gained practical experience with sustainability policies and EU-funded projects.
