Emanuela Rassu

Emanuela Rassu is a PhD candidate in Law and Management of Sustainability at the University of Siena, where her research focuses on the multilevel governance of a “just” energy transition, with particular attention to renewable energy sources, the balance of constitutional values, and sustainability. She graduated in Law from the University of Sassari and studied abroad at the University of Warsaw. She has developed expertise in energy law and in the establishment of renewable energy communities through consultancy work for public authorities and private clients. She served as Head of Delegation for ELSA International at COP29 of the UNFCCC and held several leadership positions within ELSA at the local, national, and international levels. She is also an I-ACT Peer Educator (Italy–IRENA Action for Climate Toolkit), contributing to training and awareness programs on climate change and the energy transition.
