Aarne Puisto is working on a doctoral dissertation on the effectiveness of legal remedies under Finnish public procurement rules at the University of Lapland, under the supervision of Professor Kirsi-Maria Halonen. The research is conducted primarily on a part-time basis because he works at Dittmar & Indrenius Attorneys, focusing particularly on public procurement, EU and competition law, as well as state aid. He has already published several articles on topics related to his areas of expertise. He is a well-regarded speaker and regularly lectures at seminars, universities, and other educational events both in Finland and abroad. He is also a board member of the Finnish Procurement Association.
