We here at CLIMA are delighted to announce the addition of 4 new members to our team.
Our new members are:
Professor Carina Risvig Hamer is a distinguished scholar specializing in public procurement law, EU law, and administrative law. Holding a Ph.D. from Copenhagen Business School. As Principal Investigator on several projects funded by DFF, Dr. Risvig Hamer delves into issues within procurement law, including competition safeguarding and equal access to agreements. Her research significantly advances understanding in these areas.
With prior roles at the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority and academic positions at the University of Southern Denmark, including a recent appointment as Professor wsr in public procurement law, she seamlessly blends practical experience with scholarly rigor.
Carina Risvig Hamer's commitment to advancing the field is further demonstrated by her contributions to the legal community, including her role as an expert member of the Danish Complaints Board for Public Procurement.
Magdalena Maria Socha is a PhD candidate at the University of Copenhagen's Centre for Climate Change Law and Governance, specializes in public procurement and competition law, focusing her research on framework agreements in EU public procurement law. Her project, part of the CPB-Project supervised by Professor Carina Risvig Hamer and financed by DFF Inge Lehmann, examines the legality of parallel framework agreements in EU procurement law, aiming to produce a comprehensive monograph. She also teaches courses on EU Law and Governmental Contracts and supervises theses on EU law, public procurement law, and competition law.
Atakili H Gebremichel is investigating the obligations imposed by the regulatory framework of centralized framework agreements in public procurement. This involves examining the procedures for establishing these agreements and the subsequent awarding of call-off contracts. Their research, funded by a project led by Professor Carina Risvig Hamer, aims to clarify the legal landscape surrounding procurement practices.
Chanel Scheel. Chanel is the Project student, of the PROCUREGREEN project, where Chanel will assists Professor Carina Risvig Hamer, with various tasks related to the project.
