Joel Ong Jie Hao
Visiting Stay: May 27 - May 31 2024
Joel Ong is a researcher at NUS Centre for Internaional Law. Joel Ong is a researcher at NUS Centre for International Law. Joel specialises in Ocean law and conducts research on shipping, particularly alternative fuels, CCUS and MASS/autonomous ships in regards to global and regional ocean policy current affairs. Joel works under the supervision of Emeritus Professor Robert Beckman and Dr. Tara Davenport, Co-Heads of the CIL Ocean Law and Policy team. And he is funded by the Maritime Port Authority (MPA)-CIL Oceans Governance Research Programme.
While Joel is visiting, he will present his research on our InterAct Conference.
