The recasting of the Renewable energy directive and its impact on environmentally protected flora and fauna

The project addresses the latest recast of the RED and its objective to accelerate approval procedures for Renewable Energy  

projects. Looking at the environmental legal framework, namely the Habitats and Birds Directive, the project includes case-law from Member States and the CJEU in an attempt to identify challenges and shortcomings of the directive.
