CLIMA Lunch Seminar with Meng Zhang

Lunch seminar

Abstract

In a polarized world grappling with climate change and energy transitions, green hydrogen presents a transformative opportunity. The EU’s leadership in this sphere not only holds promise for decarbonizing industries in its member states such as Denmark but also delivers broader international implications – reshaping global green energy landscape. Imagine a future where the EU’s green hydrogen law and policy foster collaborative innovation across continents, helping to power everything from steel production to transportation. As navigating a polarized global landscape, could a Climate Club approach driven by the EU become a game changer in building up a unified and resilient future governance model for green hydrogen in its member states, the EU itself, and even beyond? This paper might deliver a new horizon in this groundbreaking governance model shift for green hydrogen.
