The Regulatory Framework for Climate Engineering - with a focus on CDR

Breakfast

Haomiao will present on the regulatory framework for climate engineering, with a focus on carbon dioxide removals (CDR) (in contrast to solar radiation management, SRM). In this presentation, Haomiao will first unfold the main legal issues associated with land-based and ocean-based CDR techniques and then discuss the current regulatory progresses in the international context (IPCC report and NDCs) and also in the EU and China.
