The 24th of February, Ukraine was invaded by Russia. A month later there is still war in Europe. This has resulted in the European member states and many others rallying like never before and a long list of sanctions have been implemented against Russia – here the question of Russian oil and gas has been heavily debated.

The faculty of law climate student association, Casus Clima and CILG invite you to the event 'How does the conflict in Ukraine influence the green transition?', taking place in the Faculty Pejsestuen. Here two presentations by researchers from to the Center for International Law and Governance (CILG) will provide insights about human rights, energy and armed conflicts.

Linnéa Nordlander, Phd, is a postdoc at CILG. Her research is focused on climate change and human rights.
