Alessandro's main research area is the role of international trade and investment law in support of the green transition. His PhD thesis analyzes, in particular, the promotion of renewable energy in the interaction between climate and trade law. Moreover, Alessandro's research interests also include EU climate and energy law.
Alessandro is a PhD researcher at the University of Innsbruck (double-degree PhD with the University of Padua). His visting research stay at the Centre for International Law and Governance (CILG) is coordinated by Prof. Beatriz Martinez Romera, co-supervisor of his PhD thesis.
