New Project Student at CILG

Federica joined CILG in September 2021 as a project student. At CILG, she will assist on different research projects.

Federica is a student on her second year of the LL.M in Law at the University of Copenhagen. In her LL.M, she is mostly focusing on international climate change law and energy law, and has taken part in the TUCCCEL project.

Before studying at the University of Copenhagen, Federica has obtained her Italian Law Degree at the University of Turin and LL.M in International Law at Utrecht University. Having a strong interest in law of the sea, climate change and environmental law, she has worked and volunteered in several international environmental non-profit organisations and in the energy sector. Recently, as a legal consultant for Blue Marine Foundation, she has contributed to the establishment of new Natura2000 sites in Sicily, which strengthened her interest in ocean governance, fisheries and marine issues in general.
