Copenhagen Common Session Conference

CILCC, Centre for International Law, Conflict and Crisis, is proud to announce that we will be hosting the Common Session Conference. Copenhagen Common Session Conference will take place on 17-19 October 2018 at the Faculty of Law, University of Copenhagen. The theme of the Copenhagen Common Session Conference will be “'Technology and Crime: critical criminological perspectives”.

About the The Common Study Programme

The Common Study Programme is now in its thirtieth-year.  The Programme was initially developed to provide a common instructional framework in Criminal Justice and Criminology among several European Universities. Since that time the Programme has steadily developed into the premiere scholarly forum for the study of critical criminology.  Having recently welcomed the Universidade do Porto, the Universiteit Utrecht, and the University of Copenhagen into the Programme there are now thirteen participating Universities representing nine European countries and one North American country. Universities participating in the Common Study Programme host semi-annual conferences, termed ‘Common Sessions’, on a revolving schedule.  The Common Sessions provide both the Faculty and Postgraduate Student participants an opportunity to exchange ideas and deliver papers on many of the topics and concerns that fall under the umbrella term—Critical Criminology.
