CECS convenes panel on solidarity at ICON-S 2017 in Copenhagen
At the International Society of Public Law (ICON-S) Fourth Annual Conference held at the University of Copenhagen from 5-7 July 2017, the Centre for European and Comparative Legal Studies (CECS) convened a research panel on International Courts and Solidarity.
The panel included Hans-Jörg Trenz (Faculty of Humanities, University of Copenhagen) on European Solidarity in Times of Crisis: Towards Differentiated Integration; Dagmar Schiek (Queen’s University Belfast) on Solidarity in the EU and the European Court of Justice; Helle Krunke (Faculty of Law, University of Copenhagen) on Solidarity at the European Court of Human Rights; and Achilles Skordas (Faculty of Law, University of Copenhagen) on Solidarity as Contingency Formula: International Court of Justice and World Order. Ulla Neergaard (Faculty of Law, University of Copenhagen) chaired the session, whilst Hanne Petersen (Faculty of Law, University of Copenhagen) was the discussant for all the papers.
