Behrang Kianzad has written a book chapter on law and economics of IP and Competition law in the context of COVID-19 pandemic. The chapter is now in print as part of "Law and Economics of the Coronavirus Crisis", part of Springer Nature Group Economic Analysis of Law in European Legal Scholarship.

The chapter by Kianzad concerns the matter of excessive pricing and price gouging of essential items during COVID-19 in EU, US and South Africa, making a comparative law and economic analysis of the various approaches, and also referring to my empirical study, published by Concurrences in 2020
