New Publication on the Tragic Failure of the Global Supply Chain for Medical Supplies at the Epicenter of COVID-19

Marcel Bogers and Timo Minssen from CeBIL took part in an interdisciplinary team of leading clinicians, management and legal experts, along with Sonu Bhaskar, Jeremy Tan, Hishamuddin Badaruddin, Simon Israeli-Korn and Henry Chesbrough and published a new paper to address the challenge of the breakdown of the medical supply chain during the COVID-19 crisis.

With an initial thought around a blockchain, AI and data analytics platform guiding the model, they delved into the governance & regulatory framework, regional stockpiling and other issues to address the gaps. The paper offers a critical analysis of the failures of global medical supply chain and an alternative holistic framework to address these gaps.
