The Ice Age research project organized a seminar on egg freezing in the Danish Parliament on February 1, 2019 in collaboration with member of Parliament May-Britt Kattrup (LA).

Professor Marcia Inhorn, Yale University and Professor Guido Pennings, Ghent University gave ethnographic and ethical perspectives on social egg freezing in keynote presentations followed by a panel debate with professor and head of the fertility clinic at Rigshospitalet Søren Ziebe, Copenhagen municipality politician Tommy Petersen, member of the Danish Parliament May-Britt Kattrup and former Minister of Commerce and chair of Cryos International Sperm and Egg Bank Ole Sohn.
