Decisions from the EU-parliament and the EU-council

The Daphne III Programme (2007-2013)is made to prevent and combat violence against children, young people and women and to protect victims and groups at risk.

In 2008, priority will be given to specific projects focusing on the following topics:

1. Issues of sexual abuse and exploitation and trafficking in human beings.
2. Violence and abuse linked to harmful traditional practices
3. Violence committed against particularly vulnerable categories.
4. Collection of data concerning children's rights.
5. Violence committed within the context of family and school environment.
