Exam
You will take an exam in each of the courses that you follow. There are different types of oral and written exams. However, most of the English-taught law courses at master level are concluded with an oral exam.
Automatic exam registration
When you are registered in a course you will automatically be registered for the succeeding exam. To be on the safe side, please check your course registrations on KUnet just to make sure that no errors have been made.
Required reading ("Pensum")
In Denmark the general rule is that, for exam purposes, students are only responsible for the officially designated Required Reading ("Pensum"). This means that students who understand (and can apply) the Required Reading content should be able to answer all exam questions on that basis.
Students can, of course, learn and understand more about a given course subject by also reading other sources, but students should be familiar with the course Required Reading, because that material sets the "official" boundries for possible exam questions in that course.
