Spring semester 2012:

  • The semester runs from 30 January to 29 June 2012 (examination periods included).  On Thursday 26 or Friday 27 January 2012, some introductory sessions will be arranged. Additional information will be announced in the beginning of January on the homepage for international students http://jura.ku.dk/students/

  • Easter Break: From Thursday 5 April to Monday 9 April 2012 (both days included).
  • International Workers' Day: 1 May 2012
  • General Prayer Day: Friday 4 May 2012 
  • Ascension Day: Thursday 17 May 2012
  • Whit Monday: Monday 28 May 2012

Courses spring semester 2012:

  • Course registration for Danish master students: Registration is open on KUnet from 17 October 2011 until 31 October 2011, until 12 o'clock noon.
  • Course Registration for exchange students: Registration is open on http://jura.ku.dk/students/courses/ from 26 October 2011 until 4 January 2012. Some classes are greatly in demand, so prompt registration of your course choices will help to improve your chances of being admitted to your first priority classes.
  • Course change period: 16 January 2012 – 3 February 2012, until 12 o'clock noon.
  • Cancellation of a course: At the latest on 24 February 2012, 12 o'clock noon

Exams spring semester 2012

Students registered in a course will automatically be registered for the succeeding exam. However, it is your own responsibility to register for an additional exam if you fail an exam or become ill.

  • Dates for oral exams in May are released: On 19 April 2012, 12 o'clock.
  • Dates for oral exams in June are released: On 15 May 2012, 12 o'clock.
  • Oral exams for courses taught in English are held during the whole month of May 2012.
  • Oral exams for courses taught in Danish are held in June 2012. 
  • Written exams are held in May, the exact dates are stated below. Examination numbers are released on KUnet approx. 2 weeks before the exam.

  • Results from the written exams held in May will be published on 14 June and results from written exams held in June will be publisched on KUnet on 28 June 2012.
  • Re-examination
    Registration for a re-exam must be made in the period 22 to 29 June 2012, before 12 o'clock noon, in selfservice on KUnet.
  • Full-degree master students 
  • Exchange students staying for only one semester must apply for a make-up and re-exam at the latest 3 working days after the exam by contacting the Student Counselling Centre. See additional information on http://jura.ku.dk/students/exam/re-exams/

Til toppenAutumn semester 2012

  • A study start programme is planned at the moment - we encourage you to join the immatriculation ceremony on Friday 31 August. On Sunday 2 September there will be a guided tour round the Faculty and a get-together with other international students (additional information will follow). The semester runs officially from 3 September 2012 to 25 January 2013 (examination periods included). Exams for law courses taught exclusively in English will be finished before Christmas. 
  • Autumn/Fall Break: 15 – 20 October 2012 (week 42)
  • Christmas Break: Starting for exchange students just before Christmas at the latest (does not apply for students attending courses taught in Danish).

    Courses autumn semester 2012

  • Course registration for Danish students and full-degree master students: Registration is made on KUnet from 16 May 2012, from 12:00 noon until 1 June 2012, 12:00 noon.
  • Course registration for exchange students: Exchange students register by use of the online forms on http://jura.ku.dk/english/education/students/courses/ from 29 May,  10 am Danish time until 12 June 2012. (detailed info is sent per email shortly before. Some classes are greatly in demand, so prompt delivery of your course registration will help to improve your chances of being admitted to your first priority classes.
  • Course change period: 29 August, 12:00 until 7 September 2012, 12:00.
  • Final deadline for cancellation of a course: 28 September 2012.

Exams autumn semester 2012

  • Dates for oral exams in December are released: In mid-November 2012 
  • Dates for oral exams in January are released: In mid-December 2012
  • Oral exams for courses taught in English are held in December 2012. 
  • Oral exams for courses taught in Danish are held in January 2013. 
  • Written exams: Written exams are held in December. Examination numbers are released on KUnet approx. 2 weeks before the exam.

Re-exams after winter exams 2012/2013
