Programme courses
ILECMA is a two-year full-time programme with study start once a year in September. Teaching will cover all three aspects: Law, Economics and Management and will take place at both the University of Copenhagen and Copenhagen Business School. The academic year consists of two semesters, a fall semester and a spring semester.
During the first semester, you will draw up a study plan which will include a choice of the third semester's electives. Your mentor will play an active part in forming the academic and professional profile in the study plan which must be approved by the director of studies. During the third semester you choose the subject and the company/organisation for the master thesis.
The first two semesters are divided into four quarters containing two courses each quarter. The third semester is dedicated to electives either as a stay at an exchange university or as courses in English at a Danish university. The fourth and final semester focuses on writing the master thesis. You will be awarded the academic title Master of Social Sciences in International Law, Economics and Management (in Danish cand.soc.) upon graduation.
