Q: Can I be admitted if I have a Bachelor degree that is not in Law, Economics or Social Science?
A: Unfortunately, we are not able to assess your qualifications prior to the application deadline. The Admissions Board will assess whether your Bachelor degree qualifies for being part of our admission process.
Note that if you have a Bachelor in Social Science, you need to have a minimum of 45 ECTS credits within either Law, Economics or Management
Q: Do I need an English language test if I have completed a Bachelor degree in English?
A: If you are an international applicant, you are only exempted:
- if you have completed your Bachelor degree in a country where English is the native language or
- if you have completed your upper secondary education in English in a country where English is the native language.
It is a requirement that you have taken the language test within the last two years when you apply. Read about the language requirement.
Q: Do I need to enclose all required documents when I submit the application?
A: You have to enclose all required documents when you submit the online application. You will not be part of the admission process if we do not receive all the required documents together with your application. We will not cantact you in case any documentation is missing.
Q: What is an academic reference?
A: It can e.g. be a reference from a professor who knows you well academically.
Q: What is a personal ranking?
A: A personal ranking can be a letter from your university stating where you are placed academically compared to other student. E.g. if you are within the best 10 %
Q: Are there any scholarships for ILECMA?
A: For the admission in 2011 we have a limited number of scholarships. They will be awarded on grounds of academic excellence. You can apply for schorlarship along with your application for admission.
If you are admitted as a non-EU student, you will have to be able to pay the tuition fee as well as living expenses. As an EU student you do not pay tuition fee, however, you will have to be able to pay for living expenses. See an estimate of living expenses in Copenhagen
Q: When can I expect to know if I am admitted to the ILECMA programme?
A: You will get a reply within 2 months. Note that we will send acceptance/rejection letters via email and that you need to confirm our offer of acceptance.
