Professor Mikael Rask Madsen gains membership of The Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters

With the membership Mikael Rask Madsen will be one of 250 Danish members in The Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters - an association that also consists of 250 foreign members.

The aim of The Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters is to strengthen the position of science in Denmark as well as encourage interdisciplinary understanding. The association works as a joint committee and a meeting point for prominent researchers from all areas of basic scientific research.

The Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters collaborates with academies of science and letters from across the world as well as with international organisations and Danish authorities. The association works for strengthening the understanding of the nature and relevance of science and research. This is done by publishing scientific papers and arranging public lectures.
