New visitor at iCourts - Caroline Nalule

Caroline Nalule is currently doing her PhD studies at the University of the Witwatersrand School of Law in Johannesburg, South Africa. She has an LLM in international human rights law from Lund University, Sweden and LLB from Makerere University Kampala. She holds a Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre, Kampala and is an enrolled advocate of the Courts of Uganda. She has worked as the Regional Coordinator of the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative, Africa Office engaging in human rights advocacy and particularly the right to information and access to justice. She also worked with the Uganda Human Rights Commission rising through the ranks from research assistant to Director, Complaints, investigations and Legal Services. Prior to working with the Commission, she worked as a legal consultant and advocate in a legal consultancy firm. Her areas of expertise and interest include: international law, human rights law, regional economic communities and their affiliate courts, international criminal law, and legal and policy analysis. Her current PhD research is on migration rights of East African Community Citizens.
