Marina Aksenova Has Been Awarded Mauro Cappelletti Prize

Marina Aksenova has been awarded Mauro Cappelletti Prize for the best thesis in comparative law at the European University Institute.

On 12 June 2015, Marina Aksenova was awarded annual Mauro Cappelletti prize for her thesis ‘Complicity in International Criminal Law’. Mauro Cappelletti, whose name is honoured by this prize, was a great scholar of Comparative Law and Professor of Law at the EUI, at the University of Florence and at Stanford University in California. Marina’s work focused on many aspects of international and comparative criminal law. She devoted a big part of her dissertation to exploring national legal systems of the world with the view of defining general principles of law.
