Jakob v. H. Holtermann on Radio DR P1 Eftermiddag regarding ICC

South Africa, Burundi and Gambia recently decided to leave the International Criminal Court on the grounds that the court unjustly has a bias against Africa. The Gambian information minister even called it “an International Caucasian Court for the persecution and humiliation of people of colour, especially Africans”. This charge raises larger questions about the underlying philosophical justifications and overall purpose of the International Criminal Court. Jakob v. H. Holtermann puts the criticism in perspective in this interview.
