Copenhagen Strand Hotel is located in the fashionable quarter in the heart of Copenhagen - around the Nyhavn Canal, The Royal Theatre and Kongens Nytorv. Situated on the waterfront in one of the harbour's original warehouses, which dates back to 1869 and through the years it has, for instance, housed a cardboard box factory and a paper mill. The old buildings are beautifully and carefully restored. The hotel has 174 rooms and the decor is rustic and maritime.

Metro: 700 meter & only 2 metro stops to Radisson Blu Scandinavia.

All prices are incl. VAT and taxes. Please note that the final hotel bill will be settled in DKK.

Deposit, cancellation and changes
Reservations of hotel rooms must be backed up by a deposit payment. The deposit serves as a guarantee to the hotel for the first night and will be deducted from the participants' hotel bill upon check-out.

In case of cancellation or changes: Before 1 August 2010, the deposit will be refunded. Between 1 August and 20 August, 2010, the deposit will only be refunded if conference organisers are able to allocate the room to another guest. After 20 August, 2010, no refund of hotel deposit will be made. Please note that in case of cancellation all hotels are legally authorized to charge the entire stay as booked by the customer also in case of no-show.

All changes must be made to DIS Congress Service in writing and not to the hotel.
