Pernille Kloster holds a BA and MA degree in Law and a BA degree in Rhetoric.

Pernille's PhD project explores populist rhetoric of law and justice and its impact on legislative and judicial discourse.

The data will comprise Danish media and political texts in which populist ideas on human rights are expressed, as well as judgments from Danish courts and legislative texts such as preparatory works which refer to judgments and writings from the European Court of Human Rights. The methodology will be a combination of qualitative close text reading and quantitative automatic text reading.
