The winners of Copenhagen Competition are found

After two days of intense multilateral negotiations the winners of the Copenhagen Competition 2014 were announced at the fourth Global Green Growth Forum (3GF) where Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt presented a prize to the winning team from the Australian National University (ANU).

The members of the winning team are:

  • Alexander Thomas Craig Ferguson
  • Jeanine Huey Xie Wong
  • Olivia Claire Kelly
  • Wong Sue-Lin
  • Coach: Dilan Jesuthason Thampapillai

There could only be one winner, but all teams performed brilliantly throughout the competition, which was chaired and judged by three very experienced and engaging judges:

  • Dr. Harsha V. Singh, former Deputy Director General of the WTO
  • Mrs. Letizia Raschella-Sergi, Clinical Legal Education Expert
  • Mrs. Maria Amelia de Paula Dias, Science Expert

The winning team, Helle Thorning-Schmidt (Danish Prime Minister), Laura Nielsen (Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law and responsible for the competition’s academic content) and Mr Ricardo Meléndez-Ortiz (Chief Executive, International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD)).
