Enforcement of the EU capital market laws
Members of the Fellowship in European Financial Markets Law at the Max Planck Institute Luxembourg for Procedural Law, Prof. Pierre-Henri Conac and Dr Jacek Dybinski, had the pleasure to meet with Professor Jesper Lau Hansen, Professor of Financial Market Law, and Professor Thomas Elholm of Criminal Law, at the Faculty of Law at the Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, during a seminar on the enforcement of the EU capital market laws.
The scientific discussion focused in particular on the system of criminal and administrative sanctions and procedures in the Danish and Nordic capital market laws in cases of misrepresentation as well as the developments and the challenges in the enforcement of the EU capital market law.
These research topics will be investigated further in the course of scientific cooperation.
