Dean’s Office
Overall targets for the Dean's Office:
1. The objective of the Dean's Office is to focus on management by strengthening:
- The Dean's overall management of the entire organisation (internal functions)
- The Dean's representation and stewardship of the Faculty's external interests (external functions)
2. The targets of the Dean's Office are therefore to:
- Provide efficient support for management functions, strategic development etc.
- Strengthen the Dean's opportunities for forward-looking, relevant and timely action by releasing and focusing the management resources on strategy and leadership
- Release the Dean from more specific issues regarding the daily operations
Main tasks:
- Provide the Dean with guidance and management reports
- Development, including Faculty strategy, performance contracts, action plans etc.
- Management of the Faculty's external interests and representation
- Management of and coordination and planning for the entire Faculty
- Hearings, appointments etc.
- Secretariat for vocational education and training (AMU), the Dean's Management Team, the Student Forum
- Support in connection with participation in external forums (e.g. the University Director's Management Team, the University Director's Coordination Committee)
- Service to the Dean
