University of Copenhagen Postgraduate Law Conference 2015
The Faculty of Law is delighted to announce that the University of Copenhagen Postgraduate Law Conference 2015 will take place on Thursday 29 January 2015 and Friday 30 January 2015.
Over two days of insightful discussion in Copenhagen, participants will have the opportunity to present some of their research, gain experience in disseminating their work, obtain feedback from experienced academics, yield questions from their counterparts, and socialise with other attendees. Submissions from postgraduate PhD students demonstrating innovative thought, originality and of high quality are sought in the call for papers, with full scholarship available for a number of students. Participants will benefit from being in an academic environment amongst their peers to demonstrate and develop their research capabilities and presenting styles, with crucial feedback from other participants on their methodologies, writing style, and performance skills.
At the conclusion of the two-day event, participants and attendees will have heard from a wide range of postgraduate students on their specific research areas, much of which will be outside an individual’s own research agenda. Therefore, other methodological frameworks will be exposed to new audiences for potential adaptability to their own work. In addition, conference participants will be given ample opportunity to comment and contribute to other speaker’s presentations in a setting suitable for constructive criticism, which will ultimately improve all the papers from the conference.
