Nieves is teaching the course on International Protection of Refugees at the Faculty.

The research project is about Access to Justice and Reparation: The Right to Rehabilitation in International Criminal Law. The purpose of the research is to conduct an analysis of two main topics: First, the right under international law to reparation for victims of human rights and international humanitarian law violations. Secondly, procedures which victims and survivors undergo to claim their right to reparation and rehabilitation, or when fulfilling their obligation to participate in proceedings as witnesses.
