Prof. Ditlev Tamm og cand.jur. Anne Østrup bidrager med artikel til ny bog om kulturbevaring i komparativt lys.

Beskrivelse af bogen på engelsk:

The Impact of Uniform Laws on the Protection of Cultural Heritage and the Preservation of Cultural Heritage in the 21st CenturyThe Impact of Uniform Laws on the Protection of Cultural Heritage and the Preservation of Cultural Heritage in the 21st Century, Toshiyuki Kono (ed.), Martinus Nijhoff: Boston Leiden 2010

This volume offers a combined study of two movements in cultural heritage law: cultural property nationalism, which perceives cultural property as belonging to the nation in which it is found or the nation which contains the cultural descendants of the culture of its creator and cultural property internationalism, a rather newer phenomenon whereby humanity as such is seen as having an interest in the preservation and enjoyment of cultural property wherever it is situated.

Providing an overview of the seven Conventions with the two Protocols adopted by UNESCO and UNIDROIT, this book offers comparative analysis of legal schemes for the protection and safeguarding of cultural heritage in 15 countries. Prof. dr.jur. et phil. Ditlev Tamm and cand.jur. Anne Østrup of the Centre for Studies in Legal Culture at the Faculty of Law have contributed an article entitled Safeguarding the Danish Cultural Heritage.

The book contains the reports presented at the First Intersessional Thematic Congress of the International Academy of Comparative Law in November 2008. It speaks to those interested in international law, cultural heritage law, art law, comparative law, cultural property/heritage, the history of art, the world heritage, and cultural diversity.
