Greenhouse for Tax Sustainability and the UN Sustainable Development Goals

The Greenhouse is a new platform for students’ research projects within the field of sustainability and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The Greenhouse will establish a platform, where students, researchers and the private/public sector can collaborate closely on ideas for research projects concerning sustainability, which inter alia focus on the role of taxation in relation to the fulfilment of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Thus, the Greenhouse welcomes broadly all legal areas and other disciplines, provided there is a sustainability perspective in the project. Students can participate in the projects of the Greenhouse as part of the curriculum with ECTS or as an extra-curricular activity besides the study programme.

The purpose of the Greenhouse is to create a new and innovative platform for student-driven research projects within the field of sustainability and the UN Sustainable Development Goals set from different academic angles and perspectives. The Greenhouse establishes a platform, where students, researchers and practitioners from the private and public sector can closely collaborate on ideas for research projects concerning sustainability across academic fields and disciplines. Students who choose to engage in one or more of the projects provided by the Greenhouse thus obtain competencies in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary innovation, and entrepreneurship through their active, creative and independent effort during the project.

Through close cooperation with i.a. Human & Legal Innovation Hub, UCPH, the Greenhouse focuses on exploring the possibilities for developing the projects into new green start-ups.
